PurrNest™ Lap Carrier
"My Maltese used to shake the whole train ride. Now she curls up on the PurrNest, rests her chin on the pillow and sleeps until our stop. I actually get to read."
"We drive to my parents' every other weekend and this has replaced the carrier completely. He stays on my lap, the straps keep it from sliding, and I still have both hands free."
"Bought it for my senior Yorkie who hates being set down anywhere unfamiliar. Vet waiting rooms, cafés, friends' houses — he just settles in and stays. Worth every cent."
What It's Made Of
What It's Made Of
Plush, pet-safe fabric over dense, supportive cushioning. The outer layer is soft enough to nap on but breathable, so they never overheat. Underneath, the padding holds its shape ride after ride instead of flattening like a pillow. The straps are reinforced webbing with quick-release buckles, and the cover zips off for machine washing.
Will My Pet Fit?
Will My Pet Fit?
Designed for small dogs and cats up to 20 lb / 9 kg. That covers Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Pomeranians, Maltese, Shih Tzus, Dachshunds and most adult cats.
The seat is roughly 18in × 12in with a raised pillow at the front. If your pet curls up comfortably in your lap today, they'll fit on the PurrNest. And if it isn't right for them, the 30-day guarantee has you covered.
How To Use It
How To Use It
1. Sit down and rest the PurrNest on your lap with the pillow facing out.
2. Wrap the waist straps around you and click the buckles — snug, not tight.
3. Let your pet step on and settle in against you.
4. Keep a hand nearby while moving. The PurrNest is a lap seat for sitting, not a lifting harness.
Care & Cleaning
Care & Cleaning
Unzip the cover, machine wash cold on gentle, and hang to dry. The inner cushion wipes clean with a damp cloth. Fur comes off the plush with one pass of a lint roller — it doesn't weave in the way it does with sherpa.

Their Favorite Seat, Anywhere You Sit
Small pets don't want a bag — they want you. The PurrNest straps around your waist and gives them a plush, raised nest right on your lap, so a train seat, a café chair or the passenger seat feels exactly like the couch at home. They feel your warmth, hear your heartbeat, and settle within minutes.
Calm Rides, Free Hands
Two adjustable straps with quick-release buckles hold the cushion steady, so you're not clutching a squirming pet for an hour. Scroll, sip your coffee, hold a hand — they stay put, supported by a raised pillow that lifts their head to watch the world go by until they doze off.
Soft Enough to Nap On, Light Enough to Pack
A plush, breathable outer layer over dense cushioning that keeps its shape ride after ride. Cozy in winter, never sweaty in summer. The cover zips off and machine washes, and the whole thing folds into a tote or carry-on. Bonus: it's a very good lap pillow for movie night when nobody's riding.
Why not just use a carrier?
A carrier puts a wall between you and your pet. The PurrNest puts them on your lap — where they actually want to be.

GOT QUESTIONS?
Everything About Your PurrNest Lap Carrier
Is it safe for my pet?
Is it safe for my pet?
Yes. The PurrNest is a lap seat for when you're sitting — it isn't a lifting harness or a carrier. The surface is soft and non-slip, the pillow supports their head and neck, and nothing restrains them, so they can shift or step off whenever they like. Keep a hand nearby while you're moving.
How big can my pet be?
How big can my pet be?
Up to 20 lb / 9 kg. That covers Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Pomeranians, Maltese, Shih Tzus, Dachshunds and most adult cats. If they curl up comfortably in your lap today, they'll fit.
How do the straps work?
How do the straps work?
Two adjustable webbing straps wrap around your waist and click together with quick-release buckles. Tighten until the cushion sits snug on your lap, then forget about it — it stays put when you lean, reach or shift.
Can I use it in the car?
Can I use it in the car?
Yes, for passengers. It's ideal for road trips, rideshares and the passenger seat. It is not a crash-tested restraint, so it should never be used by the driver.
How do I wash it?

Unzip the cover and machine wash cold on gentle, then hang to dry. Wipe the inner cushion with a damp cloth. A lint roller takes fur off the plush in one pass.
